A little bit about the face behind the name

Hello, I’m Claire, owner at Eden Rose Design Studio.

My passion for drawing and illustration started at a young age and continued throughout school and college. Fast forward a decade (or two) and now with a Masters Degree in Design from the University of Edinburgh in hand, I turned that passion into a business.

In 2017 I set up shop and now I get to do the things I love the most everyday by helping couples all over Scotland to design their dream wedding stationery with confidence and creativity and for this I am truly grateful.

The name inspiration is an easy one, my oldest son Eden was born in October 2016 and the Rose part stems from (pardon the pun) my love of vintage botanical art.

Some fun facts about me:

I love skulls, having fallen in love with Damien Hirst’s sculpture – For the Love of God.

I own a  cream 1972 Classic Volkswagen Beetle helping me deliver all of your lovely packages!

Sacher is our fluffy Siberian cat, keeping me company since 2015.

I’m a classic rocker and metal head at heart but have a soft spot for Goldfrapp & Hot Chip.


Our Process

With 10 years industry experience working as a graphic designer and having recently won the Confetti Award for Wedding Stationer of the Year, with Eden Rose, you can expect superior quality and exceptional service. Find out a bit more about our process below.

  • Ordinarily, we would get together for tea & cake to discuss your requirements and understand your design priorities. However, due to the current climate, our consultations will take place via email. At this point we will discuss your theme and choose colours, fonts and paper stocks.
  • Once we’ve agreed on what is required, I will send you an accurate quote along with a consultation form to complete. Once the estimate is approved, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • We will then begin the design process where a digital proof is prepared for you to approve before anything is sent to print. It is at this point you can make any reasonable changes to the design and request a sample if desired.
  • Once I have received approval for the digital proof/sample, I will send your stationery off to our print wizards for them to work their magic. This can take between 2-4 weeks depending on finishes and quantities.
  • This is the fun part! Your order will be delivered to you, compiled and ready for posting out to your guests.
